The Timed Release is a concept that allows artists to sell an unlimited number of physical editions within a limited timeframe. This Edition will be available for 48 hours only, then never again. All editions are numbered and signed by the artist.
Marc Quinn refers to the eyes as "the doors of perception, the portal between inner and outer, and the link between us and the world". The iris paintings are about individuality, irides are as singular as fingerprints.
"They are also one of the few external parts of the body which are highly coloured, or more correctly they are the only internal organ you can see from the outside, and the only one which has the strong vivid colours of the inside of the body, the strong reds, blues, greens, yellows and oranges. They are a leakage of the vivid interior world of the body to the monochrome world of the skin."

The Timed Release is a concept that allows artists to sell an unlimited number of physical editions within a limited timeframe of for example 48 hours. Each 48h Edition Drop will be available for 48 hours only, then never again. Each edition is numbered and signed by the artist.
About the edition number
The editions are numbered randomly, i.e. the edition number is not chronologically assigned to the time of order receipt. All prints are made to order.

Please allow up to 4 weeks for delivery as each edition is produced, signed and numbered after the timed release is over.
The editions are produced in and shipped from the UK.
Delivery fees and custom duties are the responsibility of the customer.
